Map Collections

Rare Map Collection - The Hargrett Rare Book and Manuscript Library at the University of Georgia maintains a collection of more than 800 historic maps spanning nearly 500 years, from the sixteenth century through the early twentieth century.

I love maps myself, both old and new. Sometime ago, I discovered that the library of Congress website hosts many maps - including some complete with sea monsters. Here.

I love both old and new maps as well, and the more i go the more i am amazed by the old depition of the world by so many map makers and am delighted to find the modern interpatation of it
