It is like a Haiku poem.

-Ah, visual haiku's.

I do so hope you will stop by and visit my space. Tonight, I posted some photos I took of white ballerina poppies.

I visited the 91 year old calligrapher I mentioned and she painted me three gold chrysanthemums and a dragonfly. It's wonderful and I am going to frame it. There is something so resonant about having real art work.

I watched her intently as she painted it and her brush strokes were so perfect it was as though they were choreographed. She told me that she began to learn calligraphy and brush painting when she was 11 years old and living in an occupied territory. "There was so much pain," she said, "One needed to find a way to endure it and I found solace in painting. -This is what people do, art, music, dance. This is called culture."

I hope to see her again.

Wishing you good evening, dearest.

Moon,
I found a video clip of Cloud Gate Dance Theater for you! You will find it at the end of the "Wild Cursive" entry on my blog.
