Lunar Eclips 2007

tonight we could watch the Lunar Eclipse, and it looked much like this image below. what this image misses is the incredible milky-glow and intensity of the transparent crimson light that made the moon so vivid and life-like, a precious gem, a vivid eye, a splendor.

a link to photos taken from last night by Koen Miskotte.

This is absolutely wonderful; a red eclipse. I am delighted that I got to see it. Thanks, Moon.

My Darling,
I am so touched that you linked this for me and I was able to "moon watch" by proxy.I watched a total lunar eclipse once on top of a tall apartment building. My friends and I wrapped ourselves in thick quilted blankets and drank oolong tea while we watched the moon die and be reborn. Sometimes we forget we are a part of this universe too. - that we bear witness.
