The history of surfing in Munich goes back into the year 1972, when a small group of surfers found this natural and standing riverwave (the Eisbach, which translates to 'ice river', just inside the Englischer Garten in Munich). via (with video)

Many people do their best work when they are in a stormy mood.
God, I wish I could do that. Maybe I will be reincarnated as a surfer and I guess that means no books, since they don't mix with water very well. But I won't care; I'll be laying pipe.
