Brilliant...

Anyone with an affinity with the printed arts should have a chance to appreciate these works...

Domino Magazine recently featured an article about organizing books by color. Here's another article on the subject:

I guess the same principles could apply to cds or dvds. Unusual way of organizing things, but it would probably provide some unexpected discoveries. I often find myself purchasing music with similar color schemes for the artwork.

I organize things in a quirky way myself and sometimes have trouble with my files. I like the color idea. I was away for a long time, Moon dearest and am now back.

Are you coming to visit soon? I hope so..... a poet does long for their muse.

thanks Nathan, this is very interesting.
as for my self, i would say Georges Perec words seem to describe best the way i keep my books around: “a sum of books constituted by a non-professional reader for his own pleasure and daily use.”
i don't think i'll ever have the time to indulge my self at this exciting notion that 'organizing books by color allows to discover new and unexpected relationships between books we know well already." but this can be an incredible intellectual and eclectic journey
