Spent many a evening looking over Maxfield Parrish, work. In the 70's pardon if my age showes, in college his work set a tone for many a evening of wine, and conjecture, compareing his work to modern "advertising", and such.
I think it was "Harpers Weekly", or somthing along there, a hugh patron of his work, early 18th century, meaning the early 1900's.

When I was a child I was captivated by this direction and longed find this place "East of the sun and west of the Moon" Are there maps to take us back to those forgotten districts and lost territories of our childhood?
