The removal of the old beloved nearly 100 year old wooden turnstyles from the NYC subway system was unfortunate. Soon the token clerks will go too.

There is even talk of having robot trains. First they want to get rid of the conductors, then the motormen.

We will enter the tunnels through an electronic machine. Then we'll be taken to our destination by a programed snake.

I really don't like the 21st century. Not at all.
